Why on vacation to the most northern part of Croatia? To be precisely: to Sveti Martin na Muri, the most northern municipality of the province Medjimurje.

How about angling, catching your own fish? The 2 nearby ponds are full of carps, grasscarps, perches, pikes and whitefish. So throw your fishing rod and go out fishing!

Or do you like more hunting? Even that is possible.

Besides, it is possible to ride one of 15 horses from their own stud farm. You can also spend 3 full days in cross country horse-riding in beautiful countryside.

On the yard of "Goricanec" you can stay in luxury bungalows along an artificial lake, through all the year. There you are able to ride (on - horse back), hire a coach, take riding-lessons. You can also play tennis or soccer (on a field with fences on each side of the field) and a lot of more things. In the restaurant you can eat special food from the district and drink well - known waines from the province Medjimurje. During the weekend, you can enjoy live music performed by local artists.

Spa "Sveti Martin" is situated in a splendid surroundings, virtually located in the nature itself. You can also walk through the hills, with woody surroundings and through "vinestreets" , where very gentle people live, who owns vineyards.

After a complete renovation worth 6,5 million Euros, in Sveti Martin on the Mura - located on a express way leading from Zagreb to Cakovec, the Toplice Sveti Martin on the Mura (Springs) which today represent the most complete wellness offer in Croatia were opened.

There are 4 swimming pools: one for children, one filled with warm water out of the soil (34° C ) which is often used to ease your back and muscle pain, 2 recreational pool and 3 Jacuzzi

Precisely because of this the newly renovated Toplice with its apartment settlement in which guests are offered 84 apartments, that is 392 beds will be of great support to the accommodation of new guests. Namely, given the rich offer of the Toplice, it is believed that guests will come in increasing numbers to enjoy in the delights of Međimurje.

Between Potrti Kotac and Spa Sveti Martin, a nice restaurant has been situated called Jastreb. The restaurant has an accommodation for 60 people and it's veranda for 80 people.

Jastreb has become widely known, because of it's specialties from grill. They have: 18 sorts of beer there and about 30 sorts of soft drink.

You can also enjoy there of some great sorts of wine, coming from local area and well-known as one of the best in the region.

Further, you can play volleyball or badminton. They have an private pond, so fishing is also no problem!

A literal translation of Potrti Kotac is "Broken Wheel". Country tourism "Potrti Kotac" is situated on one of the highest hills in the municipality Sv. Martin, surrounded by beautiful vineyards.

From there you can look out over Slovenia, Hungary and other beautiful hills with vineyards and numerous woods.

There is customer certainly a "king". You can eat country-cheese, meat out of the cask, home-made loaf (brown), old food from province Medimurje and of course on-order (like fish, cevapcici, pljeskavica etc.).

The restaurant is furnished in a style of an old wine-house. During the weekend you can enjoy of live music performed by local artists.

In the winter you can also ski, because they have an ski-run with an elevator.

So it doesn't matter in which period of the year you come, it's always enjoyable by Potrti Kotac.
