FC "Polet"

is the local football team from Sveti Martin na Muri. It is competing in 1th Medjimurje Division.






They have 6 teams:

* veterans * 1st team and * 4 youth-teams

The whole club staff consists of only volunteers. The coach, is the only one, who has been paid. Financial resources are coming in from ticket sales, membership and volunteer contribution.

FC Polet is one of the clubs with most spectators in 1th division.

Every year Polet organizes 2 parties for it's members and fans.

In summer you have: "The Summer Night of Polet" (15th of August) and in winter "The Winter Night of Polet" (which is taking place on weekend between Christmas and New Year)

FC Polet organizes every year an international football tournament, called "The Night Tournament". More than 30 teams are competing, coming from: Croatia, Slovenia, Austria and Hungary.

This tournament is taking place during the second weekend after the end of regular competition.
